Too many children live in environments that breed pessimism and distrust in the ‘system’. Because of this, many ultimately drop out of school and become entangled in the criminal justice system. This is not because these children are inherently bad, but is much a reflection of a lack of confidence in themselves and their inability to visualize a bright future. Eboni Eyes looks to counter this by providing entrepreneurship and financial literacy programs which encourage children to explore their interests and build self-confidence. Eboni Eyes believes that by promoting literacy and encouraging students to continue their education, children have an opportunity to achieve their greatness and establish a legacy that will make a positive impact on others.
